Question by micah w: 1 pixel wide vertical red line on my Toshiba 50HP66 Plasma TV 50″?
I bought this tv in 2006, 1080p full HD. Everything has been great with it until today. I turned it on to watch tv and noticed this 1 pixel wide red vertical line. There is just one of them and it will only show up when there are a lot of bright colors being shown (the line gets interrupted when there is black in the picture but continues past the black). I have directv and a blue-ray player hooked up to it. It doesn’t show the line when it’s a full black screen or a “washed” white screen. Is there anything I can do to eliminate this or is it a goner? I am almost certain that the repair will be just as much as a newer tv. She’s been great for 5 years I would hate to see her go………

if its not annoying and you can bearly notice it just leave it.

but if your really annoyed just get a new tv. now days tv’s are soooo cheap compared to what they used to be and also with 3d tvs comiing in and all buy one without and it will be really cheap.

    Bye bye. It’s your panel. Part #72784108. Retail w/out labor about $ 3,132.27. You can buy a new 50″ or around $ 600. Don’t waste your money…..
