Is Sony planning to add Netflix to their systems?, How people can watch full movies ?
It’s really an excellent, amazing and beautiful TV. I highly recommend checking one out! You will not regret it if you’re in the market for a new HDTV.
is there any input lag when gaming on the w series?
@LightofBankai I have one for about 2 months now and I find that its great
for just about anything. a decent tv for a decent price.
Thats the stores fault, not the TV’s.
Samsung’s current TVs are NOT LED. They are edge lit, the main platform is still LCD.
W series is one step down from XBR series.The picture quality is amazing on it when your viewing through a true HD signal.
i notice best buy and fry’s run samsung videos through sony tv and they look horrible on sony. horrible as in like pixelated. they also put standard definition on sony’s tv also. So how is the picture quality on the w series? I notice that the colors are richer on samsung led but i also know that they don’t calibrate sony tvs also. one more thing, how is standard definition cable on this w series? thinking about buying one next week.
I got the 52w5100 and its great.. just that I’m wondering how do you get HD quality from youtube videos? (obviously for the ones that have the option)
When watching an online movie, do we need to plug in a USB flash drive for buffering?
Dave Matthews Band rules!!!!!
The 46 inch is the family gift this holiday season- our first 1080p set after several 720p sets.
If you are on a cable modem for your hi-speed, you might want to try splitting your cable at the tv and put your cable modem and wireless router behind the tv. That gives you wired ethernet at the tv and it’s trivial to get your computer connection wireless. Even a desktop is only $25 ish for a wireless N USB dongle.
Generally that approach is much easier and cheaper than wireless bridges or ac wireless adapters.
Gret Vid…Im getting my 40-inch W this week.
Was gonna get the Xbr9 model but i thought the 400 bucks extra for 240hz isn’t worth it.
Anyway does any one know how to make this TV connect wirelessly to a router.
finally, been waiting on a vid about this model….too bad it didnt tell me somethin i didnt know -__-;
