Fantastic Digital Sound & Picture!

I lean toward Sony products normally, however, this TV called out to me. I had no second thought about tagging one of these puppies and was so happy I did when we got home and hook-up! DVD come though loud & clear with my Upscaling Recorders & Players. I Found the sound of this unit to be better than my slightly older Sony and one step lower in quality. Still prefer to hook up to the AV System for my theatre sound.
A terrific unit with easy to run On-Screen Set-up menus and many auto features for self-detection.
Excellent TV

I've owned this TV now for 7 months and it still works perfectly. I mainly use it for my Xbox 360 and DVDs. Both look amazing on it. I've had zero troubles and use it around once a week.

I have even left it on by accident for 5 days while I was away and it had no problems. I got it for $450 too and couldn't be happier. Excellent for a bedroom or small living room like in a one bedroom apartment.
Very unhappy with this Sharp Aquos TV

Reviewer: Tool Guy,
Received this TV as a Father's Day gift and it was professionally installed in our master bedroom. Most of our TV viewing is done in the family room so we did not use the Sharp Aquos 32" TV that much. Unfortunately despite the lack of use the TV went completely dead on us after a few months. The first time this happened the green power light was blinking and nothing else would work. We couldn't turn the set on at all. After several calls and waiting for parts the set was finally repaired. A few months after this the set went dead again. This time the set would turn on and you could hear the sound but the screen was black (no picture). Again we had to jump through hoops, make numerous calls and wait weeks for it to finally be repaired. I have had good luck with Mitsubishi TVs in the past and I am very sorry to say my first experience with a Sharp TV was very poor. Adding to the general problem was how long it took Sharp to resolve the issues.
