- Best part of this TV is the Over the Air (OTA) tuner to get free public broadcast TV stations. Used a paper-clip as the antenna and received over a dozen HD/digital stations with perfect reception in the Washington DC metro area without any dropouts. No cable for me, literally.
- Excellent picture, especially after playing around with all color options. The color can be adjusted to anyone's preference, because it has separate color adjustments for red, blue, green, yellow, magenta and cyan, as well as, preset adjustments. 1080p display is great for graphics or if using it with a computer. I starred at a lot of 720p displays before ordering this one, for me, I can see better detail (especially background and graphics) with a 1080p display from 8' away.
- Comes on in 2.5 seconds. Try timing how long it takes to turn on any other manufacturer or previous model year TVs. Channel changes almost instantaneous about 1-2 sec, great for channel surfing. With OTA HD/digital stations this was a challenge for a lot of TVs.
- Sound quality is very good and loud if you need it. At 20% it's loud enough to fill a medium sized room.
- Low price. If you search enough you can get it at a lower price than last year's 720p models on clearance or refurbished.
Cons:
- Specs on this TV are not always accurate, different specs. on Toshiba's website vs. owner's manual vs. on the box. For example when I weight my 32RV530U it is 26.5 pounds, which is better for me. I wonder what other specs are off.
- Some fuzzyness with fast moving objects, maybe due to refresh rate (5-8ms)or 10 bit panel or 12 or 14 bit processor (listed in owner's manual.
Whatever the true specs are this TV looks great either way for TV watching or used as a computer monitor.
Pros: Perfect 1080p tv which is hard to find with a 32" model. PLays blue-ray games and movies great with exceptional picture. The blacks are very black and virutally no cloudiness that I can see. Excellent number of inputs. Menus look very nice and easy to use.
Cons: None that I have noticed so far and I have ownweed it one month while running a ps3.
All in all. If you are looking for a nice 1080p TV but don't want some thing huge. This tv is perfect. I have limited space but still wanted the best picture I could get and this TV is great. The price was amazing aswell considering all the specs that it has. I think this is the best deal for smaller LCD TVS out there right now.
This Toshiba puts out crystal clear 1080p full HD. Which if your into Video games such as the PS3 or Xbox 360 is awesome .I run my Blu-ray and DVD's thru HDMI and and they look awesome. If you have an HD cable box and HDMI hookups this thing will not disappoint. I would have to say, before this i was not a fan of toshiba products but this t.v is a spectacular product and i defiantly recommend it.
Another great feature is this t.v has FOUR HDMI hookups which is awesome. No more reaching behind and unplugging and plugging things back in. The sound is pretty amazing being as i do not have my surround sound hooked up to it yet.
Its a bit pricey but if you are going to pay 600 for a Sony or another name brand thats only putting out 720p its totally worth dropping the extra cash and experiencing full true HD.
**** I read the two star review about this t.v and how it started to get gray lines running down after a couple months. Keeping in mind i have only had the t.v for a couple weeks but i did buy the extended warranty just incase. Personally i do not see this happening, and it seems to only have happened to one person.
So I bought this TV. Good lord, it is perfect. Even on the lowest standard definition composite video everything looks incredible. Colors are bright and there is no block-like artifacts. The edges of curves are smooth and flawless even when blown up to the full screen size. The speed is no problem for Rock Band on a PS2.
And the HD performance is unbelievable. Menus are easy to follow, and setup is a snap with a good manual.
The only problem is once you start to use these REGZA models you will not be able to go back to a mere Samsung or Sony TV. It's just a different class in itself.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The going $879.00 is well worth it for this TV. I was going to go cheap in the $550 range but decided to upgrade and Am I ever Glad I did.
- Virtually no blur, a crystal clear pic, even for HD standards ... mind-blowing color
- Tons of inputs - 4 HDMI inputs, 2 component video inputs, 2 standard A/V inputs, and I know I'm forgetting one or two. Oh yeah, the computer input too. If you can't connect all your video stuff, you have too much stuff.
- Very user friendly menu system, and a great remote control. You know how Honda builds cars with ergonomic interiors? This is the TV equivalent.
- Very easy to switch between picture sizes (6 or 7 kinds), or leave it up to the TV to figure it out for you. This is wonderful for non-HD channels that transmit a letterbox style picture.
I have compared the picture on this TV versus more expensive Samsungs and Sonys ... no comparison. And again - look at the price!
Finally - the buying experience from Amazon was wonderful, as usual. We did Super Saver Shipping, and the TV still arrived in 2 days (delievered on a Saturday, no less). Granted, this wasn't during the Christmas season, but still.
The Tv is nice, The picture amazing, clear with nice color.
I would recommend this unit to anyone.
