The new Wishbone Series flat panel cantilever wall mounts will heighten the "wow" factor of any television room as much as the new LCD or plasma screen it is holding. Designed with the consumer and installer in mind, these flat panel cantilever mounts are as practical as wall mounts come, yet highly versatile and easy to install. Unlike traditional basic wall brackets, OmniMountâs Wishbone Series cantilevers allow the flat panel television to be extended away from the wall for multiple viewing options. Rugged die cast aluminum construction and included wall stud mounting hardware secures not only the flat panel television, but peace of mind as well. A double-capacity cable management system allows for twice as many unsightly wires to be neatly tucked away within the cantileverâs housing for a clean, organized look.

Omnimount is great about putting all of the details on their website regarding how to mount the unit, which TV's it fits, and so on. Omnimount manufactures some nice mounting equipment and this mount is an example. The unit mounts easily, quickly, and meets all the specs on Omnimount's site.

Additional Features that are hard to notice in the pictures include:
Integrated cable tray for routing cables from the wall to the TV
Spring Tensioned adjustment on the rear for adjusting til.
The bolts tension the TV in place so it can be bumped without moving out of position, but it can be moved with relative easy when you desire to do so.

The mounting process is easy since you do the steps as follows:
Mount support plate to the wall.
Hang the arm on the support plate; it hangs on there and allows you to put the bolts in without a second person.
Mount the TV mounting plate to the back of the TV.
Hang the TV on the arm; again, if done properly, it will hang and allow you to do it without a second person assuming you are strong enough to lift the TV above your head.

Wow, what a great lcd mount. I've used others, and they require constant adjusting, I installed the Omnimount and I was done. I have a pretty heavy 32" lcd, with the Omnimount I can move it around with just a finger. Great engineering and design, Omnimount looks like they care about putting out a good product.

Cons: Running wires through the arm can be a pain, you have to unscrew the covers, run your wires, and try to keep the wires in place while screwing the covers back on. A cover snap on design would have worked better.

Bought this arm to attach 32" HDTV to wall. So nice to be able to turn the big thing vertically and get it up against the wall in a corner and out of the way. Easy to pull back out again when want to watch TV. Has passages for all those cords to go through. So glad we bought this one and not the cheaper one that won't fold flat or go vertical.

This is an excelllent product. I researched several arms prior to deciding on Omnimount's CL-MP Cantilever Mount. I wanted a cantilever to provide flexibility in the display direction (pan) in addition to tilt. Very easy to install, it took about 15 minutes with a buddy helping me. I have 2 of these installed and both have worked out great. I am supporting a 37" Sony in the study and a 26" Samsung in the Master Bath.

I also have the Omnimount UCL-XP Dual arm cantiliver supporting a 46" Samsung LCD.

Easy to install. Rock solid construction.
This mount probably was not meant for my LCD (this has 4 mounting holes my LCD has 6), so it was kind of offset. This made the monitor tilt sideways. No problem, I leveled the monitor, tightened the tension screw and it has stayed ever since!

This mount is more expensive than others but is very well built. It is pretty easy to install and functions just as advertised. Highly recommended.

This mounting arm is made very well. The overall quality is amazing and the installation is a breeze. The installation of the arm itself, took roughly 30 minutes. The only thing that I noticed was the mislabeling of mounting screws for the particular display I purchased. This was no big deal though since the package included an assortment of compatible screws.

As far as the distance from the wall, it is as they claim, a little over 4 inches away, which may bother some.
